SpaceX roars back to orbit barely two weeks after in-flight anomaly

After a rare failure earlier this month, this particular Falcon 9 rocket was making a return-to-flight for the company, and attempting to get the world's most active booster back into service.

My Take:

1) Elon Musk who is Tesla CEO is also the owner of SpaceX. It is no secret that Tesla used SpaceX state-of-the-art technology in electric vehicle design and production.

2) SpaceX identified the cause of the failure within hours of the anomaly, and worked the FAA to come to a rapid resolution - the same efficiency as seen in Tesla.

"It was incredible to see how quickly the team was able to identify the cause of the mishap, and then the associated corrective actions to ensure success," Walker said.

3) Tesla also inherited the culture of SpaceX in being transparent in reporting technical issues in order to quickly provide effective solutions (rather than to hide them). This explains why Tesla is always self initiating vehicles recall, the purpose is to put safety as top priority. I beg to differ that someone claimed that EV brands in China are better in quality than the US because they have little or zero vehicle recalls. It may post even higher risk to customers if a company has a non-transparency culture in reporting safety issues.

4) Some commented that Tesla's share price fell was also due to the SpaceX incident. If this was so, the stock should rebound when the stock market opens tomorrow.
