Stategic Consideration: Correlation with Crime Increases?
I bought a bunch of this earlier for two reasons: First, the increasing revenue growth on the two most recent Earnings reports (which clearly given the spikes that followed, the Markets agree with me that they are a positive sign) as well at the +$0.02 increase in their dividend they just decided to do.
Both are good on their own, but my second reason I want to bounce off my fellow Mooers here: Do you agree, or disagree, that as crime rises across the US due to <insert obvious political reasons here>, there will be a correlated increase in sales of personal security systems and products like $Napco Security Technologies(NSSC.US$ is in the business of? I feel like it would be a strong correlation worth considering in strategy, but perhaps I am the only one. Thoughts?
