Typically it is not a good idea to buy a stock that has just hit scanners in the top spots.

Why?

If it is a manipulated stock part of their plan is to run it to the top spots and they sell into people buying in. You become liquidity!!!

This obviously does not apply in every case and less so when there is a catalyst.

Wait for the pull back don't jump in hastily.
