Is it good to buy stocks that benefit from a stronger yen?
Continuing from Monday, Tuesday was also a wait-and-see market. Japanese stocks are a deceptive market where it goes down in the morning and recovers in the afternoon.
In the US stock market, amidst all this, $Costco (COST.US)$ NVIDIA had strong movements last night, reaching a new high, so I decided to buy. There was higher-than-normal volume before I bought, and it felt like there was a lot of buying interest. It ended up looking like I bought at a high price 😂, but I'm hoping for even stronger movements tonight ⤴️.
I went into a yen-depreciation benefit stock in the Japanese stock market,
Both of them have shown strong movements recently.
I was busy on Monday and Tuesday, so I couldn't really check during the day, but on Monday $Chugai Pharmaceutical (4519.JP)$ I hadn't realized that my stop-loss order was triggered and then the price reversed without me noticing. It was strong on Tuesday, so in the end, I bought it back, but I missed the entire price drop 😇. It's understandable that I couldn't check during the day, but I regret setting the stop-loss order too close.
NVIDIA's earnings will be announced in a day, looking forward to it 😊.
