Good morning, MOOMOO users! We will deliver the hot stocks and latest rating information for the morning session.
Today's strengths and weaknesses
12/13 [Strength and Weakness Factors]
Three points to focus on in the morning session
Profit-taking selling due to the decline in US stocks.
$Seibu Holdings (9024.JP)$Announced a revision of the performance forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2025. Revised upwards the revenue from 494 billion yen to 898 billion yen, and operating profit from 45 billion yen to 289 billion yen.
$Nippon Telegraph & Telephone (9432.JP)$Commercialization of energy-saving servers, utilization of IOWN, reduced to 1/8.
Active stocks, hot stocks.
Weak development due to the decline in US stocks. As of 11:00, on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime, the number of stocks that rose was 400, while those that fell were 1184, and those that remained unchanged were 57, with the number of declining stocks significantly outnumbering the number of rising stocks. $Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (7011.JP)$Stocks fell sharply. On the 13th, the Liberal Democratic and Komeito parties agreed to postpone the decision on the timing of income tax increase as a source of defense strengthening among the three taxes of income, corporate, and tobacco taxes.
$BANDAI NAMCO Holdings (7832.JP)$Stocks surged. $Kadokawa (9468.JP)$The subsidiary FromSoftware announced on the 13th that it will globally release the spin-off title "ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN" in 2025, which is an action RPG jointly developed with Bandai Namco Entertainment under the main title "ELDEN RING" (domestic sales by FromSoftware / overseas sales by Bandai Namco Entertainment).
$Oji Holdings (3861.JP)$Ranked in. Sharp rise. After the market close yesterday, announced a share buyback of 50 billion yen, 0.1 billion shares (10.1% of total issued shares).
$Raksul (4384.JP)$Marked a significant rebound. Announced first quarter results the previous day, with an operating profit of 0.97 billion yen, a 79.7% increase year-on-year, making steady progress towards the unchanged full-year estimate range of 3.2-3.7 billion yen.
$Kamakura Shinsho (6184.JP)$Experiencing a sharp decline. The consolidated financial results for the third quarter cumulative (February to October) announced after the close on the 12th shows an increase in revenue by 4.94 billion yen (16.0% increase year-on-year), operating profit by 560 million yen (16.2% increase year-on-year), and net profit by 350 million yen (14.4% increase year-on-year). However, despite the double-digit increase in operating profit, concerns about falling short of the full-year profit target progress rate at only 51% seem to be driving the selling pressure.
$Ohmura Shigyo (3953.JP)$Trading at the upper limit of 796 yen. Following the market close on the 12th, the upward revision of the year-end consolidated dividend forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2025 from 30 yen in a lump sum to 50 yen (previous year 30 yen) has been favorably received.
$Sakurasaku Plus (7097.JP)$Showing a high buying interest at the upper limit. Announced the establishment of a shareholder benefit program. Shareholders holding 2 units (200 shares) or more listed or recorded on the shareholder registry on the last day of January and the last day of July each year will receive a total of 20,000 yen worth of QUO cards annually (twice a year, 10,000 yen worth of QUO cards on each reference date).
