Straight up and down????

digimonX : Well, small fry like us will not be able to do anything. We know there is manipulation but we can only watch, either happily or depressingly depending on the direction the price swings. How long it will last? nobody knows. I always suggest investing for long term because over the long term, it smoothes all these spikes & valleys, & hopefully we still get a 45 degree up slope line.

Pullbacks are the best time to DCA. Don't try to chase when a stock's price spikes. However, typical human thinking/action is just the opposite. When AMD was above $200, so many people asked if it was too late to buy. Now that it has come down, nobody wants to buy. The same people were willing to pay $20, $30 & higher prices just not too long ago.

It is a given stock prices go up & down. However, the company has not fundamentally changed. nvidia @ $900 is still the same company when it was @ $800 - still operating, producing products, selling to customers & generating revenue. Sometimes just have to take the emotions away if one believes the longer term positives are still intact.

Just my view & investment strategy. You do ur own way...
