Striking Gold

Two brothers sold what they had to go off to California to mine gold. After a while, they came upon a vein of gold that surely would bring riches once they fully excavated it.  After digging in the spot, to the brothers' shock, the vein of gold was not there!  Exasperated and sensing a sure mistake, the brothers sold the land and headed back home.  The new owner then instructed his miners to begin digging again where the brothers had started.  Just two more feet down, the miners struck a pocket of gold.  The brothers efforts, if extended by two feet, would have made them incredibly rich.

Perseverance truly draws sweetness out of adversity. When we stick by a stock we know will eventually go up, or keep buying dips as you have had in the past few days, we know our pocket of gold is near.  Yet so many people give up, sell out early, and desperately hop in and out of the market, complaining the entire way about the unfairness of it all.

In the end, you succeed because you are determined to succeed, not because you are destined to succeed.  You are the master of your fate and your conviction for your holdings and stocks will help you strike the gold that awaits you.  That payday may have happened today, or it may come next week or next month, but keep digging.  Two feet down just may be your treasure
