Super Micro Inc announces no evidence of misconduct and plans to appoint a new CFO.

U.S. server manufacturer Super Micro Computer Inc. (SMCI) announced that no evidence of fraudulent accounting practices was found as a result of an external investigation by a special committee regarding suspicions of accounting irregularities. The company also revealed its intention to appoint new financial leadership.
According to the announcement on the 2nd, super micro computer inc is looking for a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), as well as a legal advisor. Kenneth Chen, former Vice President of Finance, will assume the role of Chief Accounting Officer (CAO).
In the announcement, Super Micro explained that the special committee, consisting of over 50 lawyers from the law firm Cooley and a team from the accounting firm Secretariat Advisors, in addition to the board of directors, conducted and completed the investigation.
