$Super Micro Computer (SMCI.US)$ However, it's strange. What...

But, it's a mystery. What could be the reason for this difference... Can it be predicted with thorough analysis of financial estimates?
For example, despite Palantir's strong 1Q performance in May, it received difficult forecasts, resulting in a sharp decline, followed by a further hellish period with no signs of recovery for 2-3 weeks. The market conditions back then were significantly better than they are now.
This SMCI, unexpectedly, reported a significant shortfall in eps, a truly bad financial result. Naturally, it led to a sharp drop, but it has rebounded to around $550-560 in just 2-3 days. Many were prepared for further second or third drops below $450.
Despite cutting losses and aiming for a re-entry at even lower prices, many people ended up missing the timing for further decline.

  • 182648065 : The super microcomputer was PER 25 times split, so wasn't it lowered too much?
Isn't PER too high even in the stock price where Parantia Technology has fallen?

  • Marvin1986 OP 182648065 : Thank you very much. That's true, isn't it? If you think about it normally, of course, you should be able to make that judgment, but SMCI's analyst evaluations have completely collapsed due to translation news that pops in, and stock prices won't recover for the time being. There was a strong backlash, and that kind of news completely disappeared (laughs). After all, being swayed by the news and not doing a basic analysis is the worst thing I can do. It's a typical locust pattern where you cut a big loss and switch to another stock, and that is a sharp decline (laughs). No matter how many times you repeat it, do it.

I bought a supermicro computer for 492 after the crash.
There were various opinions in the comments section and news, etc., so I was misled.
I have little investment experience, but I thought PER 25 times was strange after all, so I completely ignored other opinions and trusted my own senses and bought it.
Sometimes it was an experience where it was important to trust your instincts.

  • Marvin1986 OP : I think that's wise! I also think it will happen again at around 500 in a moment, so I'm finally planning to re-enter. It was a high tuition fee, but I'll take it easy and do my best!

  • 182648065 : Please do your best.[undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined][undefined]
