  • Shootingstar : hope they can catch the crooks before they flee including the auditor he is not innocent at all

  • 103821246 : Why the auditor not innocent ?

  • Shootingstar 103821246 : because he is involved. need to back track their audits. like enron it wasn't a one time fraud

  • 10baggerbamm OP Shootingstar : EY has been investigated by the SEC multiple times. 2022 the SEC fined EY $100 million for cheating by its audit professionals on CPA ethics exams and for misleading the SEC during its investigation.  2021 the SEC charged EY and its partners for violating auditor independence . They are still being invested by SEC.

  • Shootingstar 10baggerbamm OP : wow thanks for sharing

  • 10baggerbamm OP Shootingstar : there's a lot more going on.. and as usual typically the retail investor is the last one to know what the hell to do.
the best thing is to avoid companies that have accounting irregularities. even though there's the allure that they could be vindicated and you'll have this sudden spike in the stock you're playing with fire. you don't know if this is politically motivated you don't know if this is a conflict of interest because somebody who sat on the board of directors of supermicro was asked to leave and he has a relationship with Ernst & Young at a very high level and told them drop these guys write a letter because they're already under scrutiny from Hindenburg. there's billions of dollars being made and lost. I would just tell people don't get involved with companies like this you've had ample time to stay away from them and people keep going back to the well and the well turns out to be poison water.

  • Shootingstar 10baggerbamm OP : yah few months back I saw with my eyes it peaked to 700+ for less then 30 seconds with more then 50% gains only to drop below 400 with 20% losses and struggle probably because their reporting mentioned higher then expected gains first then declared their eps report was not good. This told me they are similar to enron ppl

  • 10baggerbamm OP Shootingstar : lying is a slippery slope. once it becomes part of your daily repertoire you have no more integrity you have no moral compass and you can't be trusted it's as simple as that. I've always said when you invest your building a team and the CEO is the head of that team if that CEO can't be trusted why would you want them part of your team. anyone who has ever been self-employed understands that when you have a rogue employee they are a Cancer and there's only one way to deal with them cut them out. they will spread their lies their contempt their hatred throughout the office throughout your company and people that don't necessarily interact with the owners on a daily basis will believe and buy in to what bad eggs say. I've watched this first hand with my companies and I learned a long time ago when you see it you get rid of these people you don't give them a second chance because they will lie to your face just as a lie behind your back.  when a CEO of a publicly traded company comes under scrutiny cut it out it's a cancer don't invest there's so many great companies with great leaders that should be part of your team and they compete every day for your money not only for you to buy their product or service but for you to invest and believe in their mission and their goals.

  • Shootingstar 10baggerbamm OP : yes anything suspicious is best to stay away from. I wonder if Boeing is ok. their CEO is really paid alot and must be hiding some secrets too

  • 10baggerbamm OP Shootingstar : I wouldn't touch Boeing, it's been nothing but a headache a nightmare a problem the stock is continuously going down if you want an buy a manufacturer buy ERJ. one company is plagued with problems the other one is not one stock goes down the other ones going up (over time)
