  • Bill Gates II : How to buy sell premarket?

  • 10baggerbamm OP Bill Gates II : you can buy and sell pre-market people do it all the time but you have to understand it's really not indicative of where the stock is going to open because how thin the volume is so sometimes you buy and you get 78 points to the upside by the time the stock opens and you're in the money and you're profitable and you look like a genius and then there's other times that they just do a rug pull they being all of the institutional hedge funds on option expiration date and they just post enormous sell orders just higher than the current market and the market makers back their bids away cuz they don't want to get hit with the stock causing it to fall further so it's manipulation 101. but yeah pre-markets available to pretty much everybody if your brokerage firm that you work with allows it some trade it 4:00 a.m. some trade at 7:00 a.m. some trade at 7:30 a.m.

  • Bill Gates II 10baggerbamm OP : I see. Thanks

  • SupaNoob 10baggerbamm OP : Not to mention this is a very tiny float stock. That’s why the moves up and down have been massive as any buying and selling can easily move the price by a few bucks.

  • 10baggerbamm OP SupaNoob : premarket is tough it really is if I were to go back and look at all the transactions I've done pre-market I would say most of the time I was wrong for acting on emotions pre-market I should have waited till the Bell rung and then you have supply and demand equalize and you get better pricing so probably 60 some odd percent of the time trading pre-market I was wrong I lost more than I would have lost and I made less than I would have made had I just waited till the Bell.

  • SupaNoob 10baggerbamm OP : Same here. Premarket bad judgment always gets you. I’m still in the process of controlling the emotional urge to chase in PM as time and time again I was proven wrong about the direction as soon as regular market opened.
