FyGoal Khanif Ikhsanudin : Yes appointing a new auditor is not a simple task especially given the circumstances that caused the departure of a big 4 auditor. Any firm will be super cautious to take it up due to reputation risks. Then there is the process to actually get the terms of the statement of work, costs and back and forth, approvals can take a few weeks at the least for such a large Corp. It's not like Super Micro can just go to any Tom, Dick and Harry to do this as the auditor needs to be credible.
SYC- 105251507 OP : Of course, I will refuse. If the company does have problems but if the audit is fraudulent, you can check how the previous Big Five firms became the Big Four. I will not do anything for any amount of money, this is like risking my career.
