Support local brand (and coffee)!

My go-to cup of wake-me-up kopi/teh (not coffee/tea) is none other than Ya Kun!! I prefer local taste instead of Western coffee, as it is more fragrant and flavourful. And one could even personalize their drink with siew dai, gao kosong etc at a fraction of a price from Western brands like Starbucks/Coffee Bean.

As for the coffee market, I'm of the view that the market demand will continue to rise as more working adults need their daily dose of caffeine to kickstart their momentum to start work. Esp for big players like Starbucks with strong financial resources, I'm positive that they will continue to expand their global markets and continue to rise.
