VIVEK SURANA : Swap is definitely king, as the buyer needs not worry about battery health. The company is paying upfront for battery and takes 5-7 years to recover that cost from customers by rent. The company needs to worry about battery health, station rent, maintenance, and everything. So the buyer will enjoy it, and investors will suffer. The company can not increase rent prices since higher rent prices will harm the sales of new vehicles.

The CEO is struggling to project when the power swap business will break even, and people here in the comments explain how this business will be like oil and earn multi billions dollars. Also, generally, oil companies are not high growth companies their PE ratio is very low. So if you look from energy sector perspective then NiO is higly overvalued.
