Symbotic Sinks Some 20% After Hours After Supply-Chain System Firm Misses Fiscal Q3 EPS Forecast
$Symbotic (SYM.US)$ sank some 20% after hours Monday after the maker of AI-powered supply-chain systems missed analysts' consensus estimate for its fiscal Q3 earnings.
SYM fell 19.1% to $28.82 shortly before 4:30 p.m. ET after reporting a $0.02 per share quarterly loss for the three months ended June 29 compared to to $0.01 earnings per share analysts' consensus had reportedly called for.
However, revenues gained some 57.7% year over year to hit $491.9 million, beating the $464.6 million that analysts had reportedly forecast on a consensus basis.
Symbotic also guided fiscal Q4 revenues at $455 million to $475 million, with adjusted EBITDA at $455 million to $475 million.
