If a serious economic downturn were to occur, or is occurring, I believe that the VIX surpassing 32 will lead to a bearish market trend. The current VIX at around 20 is far from entering a bearish market, and I think there is a high possibility that the market is pricing in too much. It is important to pay close attention to upcoming announcements of unemployment rates and various economic indicators, and not only confirm how the market perceives the results but also clarify one's own thoughts in order to not be swayed by market psychology.
As I am a long-term investor, I only do buy & hold regardless of short-term fluctuations. So, even though I have talked this much, I believe it's best to trust in the future of semiconductors and continue holding, don't you think?
If you continue to see growth while checking performance and outlook, I believe that's the least likely to be wrong.
For short-term investors, there are those in very difficult situations and also those who are doing well. I thought that many people who find such information and opinions necessary would appreciate it, so I wrote it.

Yes, that's right. The US economy cooled down due to such a delay in interest rate cuts, and it became necessary to secure cash, and stock prices depreciated almost completely except for receivables. However, when it comes to whether semiconductors will no longer be needed in the world, that's a no-no. Semiconductors are indispensable in the world. In other words, I think this decline is temporary, take this stock price crash as an opportunity, and I think this is a scene where they steadily pick it up at a low price. I think it will continue to rise and fall like a roller coaster for the time being, but I personally think it would be good if you look at it over the long term to proceed with buying this place without being shaken off.
