Tanker sinks off Oman, 1 dead and 9 rescued
Nine people have been rescued from a 16-person crew consisting of Indians and Sri Lankans, but the search for the other crew members continues.
An oil tanker sank off Oman in the Arabian Sea, and rescue teams rescued 9 crew members and contained 1 body.
The country's maritime security agency announced on Wednesday that a search team rushed to the MT Prestige Falcon, a tanker that overturned late Monday at a point about 25 nautical miles (46.3 km) from Ras Madraka in Oman. There were 13 Indians and 3 Sri Lankans on board.
