Tencent Cloud Unveils Domestically Developed Server Operating System 'TencentOS Server V3'

Hu Liming, Vice President of Tencent Cloud, introduced TencentOS Server V3, a new domestically developed server operating system, at the China International Financial Exhibition 2024.

Hu emphasized the system's focus on security, stability, efficiency, and enhancements tailored for cloud and AI applications. TencentOS Server V3 optimizes performance for databases and resource utilization, supporting Mainland-made chip servers and large-scale server clusters with Kunpeng, Hygon, and FeiTeng CPUs.

With a deployment scale of nearly 10 million units, TencentOS Server has become the most deployed Linux operating system in China.
