TENCENT will likely remain subdued
$NASPERS LTD ADR (NPSNY.US)$ ' subsidiary $Prosus N.V. Sponsored ADR (PROSY.US)$ revealed in its interim results report that, between early October and 24 November, it had further offloaded more than 26.21 million shares of TENCENT, cashing in USD1 billion.
Kwok mentioned that dotcoms had been facing pressure due to business result factors as well as concerns over China's macroeconomy. Coupled with the lingering apprehension over the divestments of its shareholder, the share price performance of TENCENT will likely remain subdued, Kwok anticipated.
