Tesla Cybertruck was U.S. best-selling vehicle over $100k in June

$TSLA.US$ $BYD COMPANY.HK$ $NIO.US$ $XPEV.US$ The article reported that Tesla Cybertruck was the US’ best-selling vehicle priced at over $100,000 in the month of June, new data from Kelley Blue Book found. For Tesla, its transaction prices for June, when compared to May 2024 and June 2023, both increased. KBB says this is due to the Cybertruck being such a good seller in the United States, as it bumped the company’s average transaction price upward.

My Take: Tesla has kept exact Cybertruck sales figures, but many were under the impression that, due to an NHTSA recall of the all-electric pickup last month, the automaker had sold roughly 11,688 units through June. This is yet another post that slapped the face of someone who commented that "Cybertruck is not as popular as the rivals (Rivian and Ford)" and "the pickup sales figure is disappointing due to its quality and design issues". The reason why the sales data doesn't match the pre-order is Tesla has a supply issue not demand but that will change in the next quarter when productivity has improved.
