Tesla ended 11-day winning streak on delay in unveiling robotaxi till Oct
Tesla shares ended its 11-day winning streak by slumping more than 7% on delay in unveiling robotaxi till Oct from Aug, according to Bloomberg on Thu.
Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter, said the company has now pushed back the date to allow its teams working on the project more time to build more vehicle prototypes,
Optimism about the upcoming event has contributed to Tesla's strong share price rise over the last couple of weeks. However, it tumbled as much as 7.6% following the news on Thu, its biggest drop since Mar 4. It is now trading below the USD245 mark.
Investors will be disappointed by the delay and send the shares lower.
