Tesla FSD is copying Baidu’s approach
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ The “teleoperation”of Robotaxi (萝卜快跑) has been massively deployed in many cities in China by Baidu since more than 3 years ago, while Tesla just started to hire developers for developing such “teleoperation”/remote control of Robotaxi, not receiving any permit to do experimental deployment in any city yet.
Once investors realize how Musk has been over claiming the current capability of Tesla FSD which is really far behind competitors like Baidu, the stock price will be in great danger.

SKYWalkers : actually it's the other way round, if u understand about AI and how Baidu got their tech
bullrider_21 : Baidu's robotaxis are autonomous. Only when they are stuck then they may be teleoperated. The only way for Tesla to be ready for robotaxis by 2Q2025 is to have a fully teleoperated fleet.
bullrider_21 : The link doesn't exist. Waymo robotaxis were initially teleoperated, but not now. Tesla is copying from Waymo.
