On the 13th, the leading American electric vehicle (EV) company Tesla announced a new recall for the electric pickup truck, Cybertruck. This recall affects 2,400 units manufactured in the USA by July 30th, with a risk of losing propulsion due to defective parts leading to potential collision accidents. This marks the 6th recall for the Cybertruck this year.
According to documents submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), there is a problem with the inverter installed in the subject vehicle, causing the driver to not feel the power when pressing the accelerator, increasing the risk of collision.
Tesla will start the process of replacing appropriate components from around December 9. It is reported that vehicles produced after July 30 are using the updated parts.
Last month, a recall of over 27,000 Cybertrucks was announced due to delays in displaying rear camera images.
