"The key consideration is, currently can any hands-free system be ethically operated by consumers on public roads. To advance the safety of the industry, AMCI Testing has now articulated a standard. But really that is the question- should we or the public be generating a standard or is this the responsibility of a Federal or State Regulator to arrive at an "intervention" standard? asked David Stokols, CEO of parent company, AMCI Global. "Further, if there are too many incidents, as we have seen in AMCI Testing's results then the public will lose confidence in all FSD and Robotaxi-type software solutions from any OEM."
SoundOfMusic : I wonder what version of FSD it tested?
Will Xpeng be the world leader in smart driving, ADAS, and AV?
bullrider_21 OP SoundOfMusic : 12.5.3. Xpeng will unveil P7+ on Oct 10, same day Tesla is unveiling its robotaxi. I believe Xpeng has the best ADAS. If its vision-only ADAS succeeds, maybe Xpeng will be the world's first to have vision-only robotaxi.
MonkeyGee : xpeng made it across country. only hope for Tesla is to buy Xpeng.
bullrider_21 OP MonkeyGee : They may. Now with vision-only XNGP.
Jensen Philanthropy : Bloody jokers, people who buys Tesla are clowns
bullrider_21 OP Jensen Philanthropy : There are those that worship Tesla like a cult.
Lnova : :o oh no
MonkeyGee SoundOfMusic : xpeng have always been the leader in FSD, but they just don't know how to sell themselves.
bullrider_21 OP MonkeyGee : They just have their vision-only ADAS.
MonkeyGee bullrider_21 OP : Both Tesla and Xpeng have vision only, right. I still think that's a wrong direction to go.
