Tesla, the leading American electric automobile company, reported that its sales in China in August exceeded 63,000 autos, an increase of 37% compared to the previous month, marking the highest monthly sales since the beginning of the year. However, it is believed to have decreased compared to 64,694 autos in August of last year.
Since April, the company has been offering buyers a zero-interest loan for up to five years. In addition, there has been a tailwind with several local governments recently making Tesla autos eligible for purchase as official vehicles.
