Tesla to buy NVIDIA semiconductors for 3 billion to 4 billion dollars this year = Mr. Musk
Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesla, a major US electric vehicle (EV) company, revealed on the 4th that 3 billion to 4 billion dollars will be invested this year in semiconductor purchases from US semiconductor giant NVIDIA.
In a post to X, it was pointed out that out of the planned capital investment amount of 10 billion dollars related to artificial intelligence (AI) this year, about half will be diverted to in-house development. It was decided that about two-thirds of that would be used to purchase hardware made by NVIDIA necessary for AI learning.
