Tesla, a leading American electric vehicle (EV) company, is approaching the launch of its advanced driving assistance system, 'FSD' (Full Self-Driving), as an optional feature in the Chinese market.
On Tesla China's website, the display on the FSD purchase application screen changed from 'Please wait until release' to 'Coming soon' on April 29th. There have also been rumors circulating on Chinese internet forums that Tesla has been recruiting trial users for FSD among its EV owners.
FSD is a significantly evolved version of Tesla's driving assistance system, 'Autopilot.' Since its beta release in October 2020 for some American owners, it has undergone 11 major updates. Tesla aims to achieve fully autonomous driving through further improvements to FSD.
