Tesla Megapacks to support France’s largest battery project

Harmony Energy has begun construction on the Cheviré 100 MW/200 MWh Megapack battery project in Nantes Saint-Nazaire Harbour, France, as detailed in a press release shared on Thursday.
Harmony is aiming to have the project completed and connected to the electrical grid next summer, with the system expected to become fully operational by the end of 2025.

My Take: Not so long ago, Tesla announced building BESS in Australia and today the company announces its energy project in France. Tesla was ranked the largest Energy Storage company in the world by Energy Digital. Tesla posted 9.4 GWh battery storage deployed in Q2 2024. Based on the growth rate, Tesla is going to dominate the energy storage market soon just like how it has dominated the EV industry previously.
