Tesla Model Y Best Selling Vehicles 1H 2024 in 3 Major China Cities
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ $BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)$ $NIO Inc (NIO.US)$ $XPeng (XPEV.US)$ For the 1st half of 2024, Model Y is the top selling vehicle in 3 of the 4 major cities in China.
According to terminal sales data compiled by Yiche for January to June (excluding imported cars):
• In Beijing, the top-selling model is the Model Y, with 9,539 units sold.
• In Shanghai, the top-selling model is the Model Y, with 13,258 units sold.
• In Guangzhou, the top-selling model is the AION S, with 11,632 units sold.
• In Shenzhen, the top-selling model is the Model Y, with 8,254 units sold.
My Take: There are many versions of the best selling vehicle model in China but this half year data is quite reliable because of a long duration and large volume sample. Credit should be given to TslaChan and DriveGreenLiveGreen from X.com for sharing the information.
