Tesla China saw 14,200 new vehicle registrations in the week of August 19-25, 2024. These results suggest that Tesla China is poised to end Q3 2024 on a high note. Industry watchers have noted that Tesla China is showing signs of a good comeback this third quarter. As per TSLA bull and The Future Fund Managing Partner Gary Black, Tesla China’s third quarter 2024 registrations are currently up 10% year over year and up 30% quarter-over-quarter.

Tesla Q2 2024 global BEV (battery electric vehicle) delivery beats other EV brands like BYD, Nio and Xpeng. The Chart includes only fully electric vehicle or BEV sales. It didn't include the PHEV or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle because such a model is still running on petrol like ICE ( internal combustion engine).
3) My Take:
AJ's chart on quarterly BEV sales is a good comparison among 25 EV companies like BYD, Nio, Xpeng etc. It clearly showed that Tesla and BYD are the global EV Leaders. Tesla Q3 2024 delivery data will be out soon in early September (follow by Q3 2024 earnings call in October). It is expected to grow YoY and QoQ. Energy storage is expected to grow significantly too. "Popular" media will likely play down the data by just focusing on BYD's NEV (BEV +PHEV) delivery or "BYD's BEV is narrowing the gap vs Tesla".
