$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ Dan Ives was on TV a short while ago. he attended the event yesterday. he came away more enthusiastic than ever that the robo taxi is real they were not prototypes they are production units and that it's going to happen and that next year 2025 it will become a subject of conversation and people will be revising their numbers and revising earnings estimates significantly higher than where they are now. he says Optimus is not even factored in not even in the equation he says they were walking around just like a regular person at the event yesterday. he says this type of event yeah it was a little short on details and that's a negative and that's why the stock is down he says what he wasn't really expecting the model to to be debuted or whatever they want to call it at this event.
he's either the most bullish person or hard-headed person I've ever seen. he's extremely bullish on Apple on Nvidia
he never changes his mind ever and I've watched over 36 years people make a name for themselves because they were in the right place at the right time and pick the right stocks that went parabolic and everybody bowed down to them as if they were a god.
and most recently a name that most everybody here can relate that to is Cathy Woods.
and she was front and center of every interview several years ago everybody wanted her on the show everybody wanted to write a story about her and the amount of money that went into her funds skyrocketed.
and she crashed and burned and the running joke as she made millionaires out of her clients and they all started as multimillionaires.
and that's what Dan Ives is turning into in my opinion the guy's very smart he gets invited all over the world to speak but all he does is focus on Tesla Google Apple Nvidia. his universe is very myopic. so you look what's going on with apple he pounded the table a water shed event I heard this so many times and the initial results from 6 hours of sales were disappointment and he says you can't judge that. and then a week's worth of sales were a disappointment and he said you can't judge that.. but the stock comes down and Google's front and center of doj potential breakup. Tesla we see what's happening..
what are your thoughts am I completely wrong in saying this am I missing something or is he losing his Golden touch ?
