$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ human will eventually adopt electric cars as it will eventually be cheaper to produce than ICE, due to fewer parts it requires. furthermore electricity power will be exponentially cheaper, VS oil. Additionally battery technology has a lot of space to improve compair to a fuel tank.
By the time you realise the above, the market has only a few survived car makers which have enough economic of scale that new comers will not be able to compete.
Not considering autonomous, the above is enough reasons to hold EV shares long term.
