$Tesla(TSLA.US$ I don't understand the mentality of shorting, and there's no bad news. It's all good news, just because it's been going up for 10 days, should I go short? How is this different from going to a casino to guess red and black on the Russian roulette wheel? Too low, there's no technical content.

努力学习的小妹 : Now it's a world where capitalists talk. As long as he is happy, even your good news can plummet
102660563 : It’s cute to think going long or short is as simple as a roulette’s black and white. Behind a company’s share price, various factors come into play such as valuation, price per earnings, RSI, growth and the list goes on.
Tesla is currently trading at 88x above its value regardless of thinning revenue and for perspective, a company like $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ trades 67x their value despite repeatedly beating EPS. Besides, It’s no surprise this ticker is at extremely overbought zones with RSI>96%.
Well, one could argue that Tesla has better growth prospects given its recent super plan but the recent price movements are undoubtedly driven by hype and such price movements are highly unsustainable. The stocks will cool down until the actual plan materialises.
well, if you’ve just entered the table, would you rather place your money on long or short?
