Why did you change your name.? Shorting a stock is the same thing as buying it. It would never go up if it never went down. There’s a balance to everything

shorting a stock or writing options contracts is definitely not the same as going long on stocks or buying contracts. It is in deed part of trading and allows for everything to work, as you said, to balance things. I don't have anything against it, but it is mathematically impossible to come up on top over long periods of time. You will never be able to account for all the variables all of the time, and eventually, you will get liquidated. Since you open yourself to potentially infinite losses by shorting and writing contracts, because a stock theoretically can keep going up indefinitely, it makes the potential short-term gains not worth the risk for me.
STOCKS GUY FR : who TF is that dude
WarlockofWallstreet OP : you will learn soon
STOCKS GUY FR : sure, come back to me once it reaches there or maybe you can short it now if you’re that confident.
WarlockofWallstreet OP : I have heard that somany times before, but the ppl saying it seem to vanish. I don't short stocks. It's a fools game.
