$Tesla (TSLA.US)$Share my perspective on my trades. Few days ago, I sold 260 calls and 235 puts. On the day of earning release (earning released post trading day), the IV on my calls were high, whereas my puts were decaying. I then decided to close all my puts. Not surprisingly, after earnings were released, the stock price fell all the way to 225. Thank goodness! Later when market opens, my 260 call price will crash and I get to pocket the profits. I also will not need to buy the stock at 235 since I have closed my puts position.
