Is this the business model that Elon Musk is considering?
Elon: Your tesla can actually make money for you
"Sometimes people wonder how to transition from this massive fleet to truly achieve fleet monetization in autonomous scenarios?
This is actually a combination.
To some extent, it's like Airbnb and Uber.
Therefore, tesla will have some of its own automobiles.
This is a bit like the fashion of Uber.
However, for our customers who own a fleet, it will be like Airbnb.
You can add or reduce your automobiles in the fleet at any time.
So you can say, I will be away for a week.
Simply tap on your tesla application, and your automobile will be added to the fleet, making money for you while you are away.
Therefore, you can add it to the queue for a few hours, days, or weeks.
Whenever you want it back, you can say, come back.
And the car will return promptly.
And I am very confident that the income received by the car owners will far exceed the amount actually paid monthly.
Then, tesla will clearly receive revenue sharing from it, but most of the money will belong to the car owner.
This will definitely work. This is what will happen.
