Is this the business model that Tesla founder is contemplating?
Elon: Actually, your Tesla will make money for you.
"Sometimes people wonder how to transition from this massive fleet to truly monetizing the fleet autonomously?
This is actually a combination.
To some extent, it's like Airbnb and Uber.
So, Tesla will have some of its own automobiles.
This is a bit like Uber's style.
However, for our clients who own a fleet, it will be like Airbnb.
You can add or remove automobiles from your fleet at any time.
So you can say, I want to leave for a week.
Simply tap on your Tesla app, your automobile will be added to the fleet, and it will make money for you while you're away.
Therefore, you can add it back to the queue for a few hours, days, or weeks.
Whenever you want it back, you can simply say, come back.
And the car will be back soon.
And I am very confident that the income obtained by the car owners will far exceed the amount actually paid monthly.
Then, tesla will apparently receive a share of the revenue, but most of the money will belong to the car owners.
This will definitely work. This is what will happen.
