SKYWalkers : Trump's focus is fair competition between gas cars and EVs, hence removal of EV subsidies.
this will hurt other EVs, but won't be detrimental for Tesla in the long run, because of Tesla's build quality and branding.
what is more important for Tesla, is to stop China EVs coming into US, which will disrupt the entire car market, from their dumping of EVs into the market, China EVs gets subsidies from CCP, so they don't care about losing money, their focus is just on grabbing market share and dominate.
Trump can either slap 100% tariff on China EVs, regardless whether manufactured in China or Mexico or US, or designate China EVs as enemy combatants, that will kill off China EVs totally, and Europe is likely to follow suit, unless they want their economies wrecked.
