$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ with all of the excitement on Tesla I posted this on the leveraged ETF which I own and trade so it didn't copy over. today's the first day since July 10th that we are right up against the upper Bollinger band the rally in the past couple of days everybody knows what it is it's a six passenger vehicle and it's robo taxis coming up in October. it certainly has nothing to do with selling a set of snow tires for the Cyber truck. so right now you got a little bit of momentum if you have two positions in Tesla I would tell you this is where you need to hedge you have your core position which you hold because you're looking for greater things to happen in the years to come your secondary position that you trade around we're at a resistance point you can either lock in your profits here it may go up another dollar today I don't know if we get a bad economic print tomorrow at 8:30 it's definitely coming down it won't be able to fight the index trading that's going to be hit in the marketplace and then alternatively sell some calls against the stock on your trading position your secondary position just as a hedge so you don't have to write it down and write it up again for the next cycle
