The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared an international public health emergency concerning the empox. Cases of infection have been reported in multiple regions. According to the Ministry of Health's Disease Control Department in Thailand, the European man who tested positive for the variant strain 'Clade 1b' upon arrival in Bangkok from Africa last week has been identified. Authorities have identified 43 people who had close contact with this man. The man had symptoms and illnesses related to Emvox, and was hospitalized on August 15, the day after arriving in Bangkok.
