digimonX Done1004 : Timing is relative.  If this stock goes up to $35 in say 2 year's time, then getting in at current price would be considered a good idea.  In general, we are still in a bull market & expected to run through 2025 & 2026.

103587782 digimonX : BS, traders if they buy straight after earnings at 21.5 now only lose 10 cents. If they buy at 20.5 a week after earnings they are up 80 cents. Long term who buy at 22 to 25 before earnings are the ones really got burned hard.

digimonX 103587782 : I was referring to traders who bought before earnings with expectations price wud rocket post-earnings, like the quarter before. There were a few here pumping the stock before earnings. Now they behave like long term investors telling others not to be paperhands. The u-turn in behaviour is a joke.

u don't understand what long term investor is. Long term pple don't look at short term loss & cry. If they use DCA, the 20% drop post-earnings were times they added more to their positions. At higher prices before earnings, they cud have bought less.

Pple who chased the price up before earnings & crying now r gamblers. Some use a more sexy term & call themselves "traders".  I don't see how they r "traders" with no sharing what they see in their charts & the accompanying analysis. The only thing I saw was constant screaming of "up up" or down down" like gamblers in casinos. I track a few of these "traders" here on this platform & their predictions were mostly wrong, like 80% wrong.
