The electricity bill will go up in June!!

It became known on the 22nd that household electricity charges for June usage (July billing) are expected to rise drastically at all 10 major power companies. This is because government subsidies that keep prices down will be abolished from June usage. Compared to the same month of the previous year, Kansai Electric Power Company increased by 46.4% and Kyushu Electric Power by 43.8%.
　The fact that levies added to electricity charges were raised in April to spread renewable energy also had an impact. Other price increases are 25.1% in Chubu, 20.9% in Tokyo, 20.1% in Shikoku, 19.4% in Okinawa, 17.5% in Tohoku and Hokuriku, 17.2% in Hokkaido, and 14.4% in China.
