The European market starts rising

The European stock market closed high on Monday after a turbulent week where it turned into a sudden rebound after a sharp global decline.

Investors are also watching the US inflation rate to be announced this week in order to determine the direction of monetary policy.

In Europe, there are no major data releases on Monday, but Hanover Re's financial results are scheduled.

Euro Stoxx 50 futures rose 0.6% and Stoxx 600 futures rose 0.4%.
