Former professional shogi player and investor. Born in Takehara-shi, Hiroshima-ken. In 1975, at age 25, he became a professional shogi player. After that, at age 57, he retired as an active shogi player. Put effort into stock investments. In 2008, it was heavily damaged due to the Lehman shock. Financial assets of 300 million have been reduced to one-sixth. Since then, they have lived a shareholder benefit lifestyle with almost no use of cash. CEO of Ladybird Capital, economist and global strategist. Born in Istanbul, Turkey. At the age of 16, he became the world champion at the International Biology Olympiad. I studied in Japan in '97. A year later, he passed the University of Tokyo Science Class 1 and graduated from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Engineering. After that, he obtained a master's degree in biotechnology from the same graduate school. Joined Nomura Securities in 2006 and worked in the investment banking division and institutional investor sales department. From 2016 to 2024, he served as the head of the Boken Keizai Juku School. Ladybird Capital was established in 2024 and assumed the position of representative. Currently, as an economist, he is disseminating information on various media and SNS.

After graduating from university, he joined Japan Texas Instruments Co., Ltd. in 1991. After experiencing sales with an engineer in Osaka, he moved to the US headquarters and was in charge of business development. He has been involved in various management positions for over 20 years, including working at the head office, while being involved in a wide range of products such as DSP, analog, and DLP products. Joined NVIDIA in 2014. As a representative of NVIDIA Japan, he is leading the expansion of markets and ecosystems for NVIDIA products and solutions, such as PC game graphics, industrial design, science and technology calculation workstations, and supercomputers, and is focusing on popularizing AI computing in Japan. He has obtained a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Tokyo Metropolitan University.
Ikegami Akira (journalist)

Born in Nagano. After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Economics, he joined NHK. From a local reporter to a science and culture reporter, he became the press bureau's chief reporter. Since 1994, he has been explaining various news in an easy-to-understand manner on NHK's “Weekly Children's News,” and has gained popularity. After leaving NHK in 2005, he covered various topics as a freelance journalist and appeared in a wide range of media. He became a professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology Liberal Arts Center (currently the Liberal Arts Research and Education Institute) from 12/2, and has been in his current position since 2016. His books include “The Power to Communicate” (PHP Shinsho) and the “Big Problem in the World Where You're Shamed If You Don't Know” series (Kadokawa Shinsho), and many bestsellers.
