The Inferno Chat at SIGGRAPH -- leather jackets and cheesesteak hell on islands of Kānaka Maoli

For everybody who avoided college dropout CEO's Inferno Chat with Huang at SIGGRAPH, I've researched and put into containment the most important information:
Highlights from the Inferno chat fireside at SIGGRAPH 2024
Highlights from the Inferno chat fireside at SIGGRAPH 2024
Counterpoint to Huang:  We need harsher judgement of "little brother" AI investments, conferences, events and job titles.
Browsing one of Meta's competitors the other day -- the video channels* of an Alphabet that has always incorporated payments and incentives for content creators  -- I came across a podcast with some interesting info.  This is an older video, which I summarized a number of days ago for my OSS Mastodon project friends. The server shown below was built in 2020,
author's content geared @native audiences, published on OSS Mastodon server she helped code backend

and is geared at a different slice of audience I write for sometimes --  trailer-dwelling rez people who can neither afford to pay me, nor who deserve the assault of Javascript advertisements like they get from Hawai'ian Cheesesteak Rancher CEO's sites and apps.
As a freshman in college, I had to read The Inferno by Dante. I'd moved over 1000 miles away from the 1970's rez-style trailer I'd called home during the last part of my high school years, until age 18, after I won a scholarship to attend University.
As part of my very first semester, I enrolled in one of those "required" classes -- a class whose professor required students read Dante's Inferno, a book about the various circles of Hell.
Nearly 26 years later, professors don't need books to talk about Hell, they just to get students to look more critically at the world where two CEOs are sitting on a smoldering Trillion Dollar pile of Credit Card debt:
Everybody went into debt to show off a cruise ship vacation? Where did RCL get its numbers?
Everybody went into debt to show off a cruise ship vacation? Where did RCL get its numbers?
I avoided SIGGRAPH 2024 because there's been far too much going on in the world --
Maui burning to the ground, New Mexico getting washed away, California and Oregon forests burning incessantly with out-of-control wildfires, Xianting flooding ... (list goes on and on)
-- there's too much going on to pretend like "everything is okay" to be goofing off with AI.
Recommend AVOID companies that are spending billions on GPUs that will never compute as efficiently as a CPU and petition college dropout CEO to stop trying to "ranch" cheesesteak cows on islands belonging to native peoples.

"Dear God, save me from having to start a YouTube Channel.  I am a Technical Writer."
* I praise Google for paying YouTube creators, but that video-centric method of content distribution is not for me.  It's not my personality at all.  Plain text, please. I do not praise $Alphabet-C(GOOG.US)$ for failing to pay me for all of my non-video Internet works, including many robots.txt files created since 2008.

Use your imagination, no video card required:
For the following script include:
One female Kānaka Maoli aged 45-75, though she looks much younger, attired in traditional dress, on her home island:
HER: "Cow...? Cows prob'lly prefer big open field?"
HER IS PUZZLED.
HER: "Cows no belong on small volcano island in middle of ocean.  Is time to cut that clueless director of Facebook AI before he destroys entire world."
