The lithium price is rising. Futures say the lithium price will rally from here. But industry says oversupply remains. Here is the real lowdown

Lithium stocks will probably start to rise from the ashes. Here is why

1- The lithium pricefuturescontracts are telling us that the lithium price bottom is behind us.

2- The spot lithium carbonateprice in China, has rebounded to his highest level since December. The lithium carbonate price moved up 2.7% in a day. It’s now up 18% in a month. 19% this year. But its price is still down 81% from its record high.

3-Many are saying oversupply remains but major producers arehopeful.

5-Bloomberg also says the surplus could remain till 2027, but don't forget thatdemand is rising. Andsome supply has been taken outof the market by small-to-mid cap lithium companies suspending some lithium mining operations (think Core Lithium $Core Lithium Ltd(CXO.AU)$ ).

6- Stocks? I am bullish on Albemarle $Albemarle(ALB.US)$ as it has offtake with most of the EV players and Pilbara Minerals $Pilbara Minerals Ltd(PLS.AU)$ who supplies to China’s Great Wall, who is also the brand behind Haval (gaining traction in Australia). It's also behind Tank, Ora and Poer.
