$Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ I don't get it I'm thinking about it again and I don't get it. if the investors who have been long stocks like GOOG because they believe in the AI future they believe that AI will bring in significant boosts to productivity and change the world blabla. if they believe that and the company is investing into capex to do exactly that. and still maintaining very healthy margins while doing so. it makes no sense to me that you would sell off a stock like that for 5% it makes zero sense to me as a bull as a long term holder of GOOGL. the ceo has the correct take, you need to overinvest and not underinvest because you can't lag behind the frontrunners the openAI gang and the Amazons and the metas and the Microsoft's. you cannot fall behind. and you also now have musk with his 100k H100s working full steam to train his FSD. with all of this you cannot possibly complain about GOOGL doing what they can , putting in reasonable amounts of money to invest in capex on AI. and what's more, GOOGL has a massive war chest they have massive free cash flow and even with this intense AI capex it's not like they're going negative FCF they still have very very healthy balances and as a megacap they have the capacity to do exactly this. if you were a small or mid cap you had no chance you could invest this much into capex you would have to borrow and do all sorts of nasty shit to get that credit like diluting shares and shit like that and then with 5.25% you're getting strangled by the Fed to borrow money to fund future growth. and with all of this people sell off GOOGL.
