The New PYPL Strategy = Monetizing
The new strategy to get more shoppers to use the app and received more cash back rewards while using the check out app is a great idea. I mainly like how they are getting into advertising and promoting deal offers. This could bring back Direct to Consumer to big retailers like $Best Buy (BBY.US)$ $Target (TGT.US)$ $Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS.US)$ $Kohl's Corp (KSS.US)$ $e.l.f. Beauty (ELF.US)$ $eBay (EBAY.US)$ $Chewy (CHWY.US)$ $BARK Inc (BARK.US)$ $Macy's (M.US)$ and take away share from Amazon $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ with their one click button called Fastlane. Promoting advertising items from select retailers to a consumer is huge change and could help elevate margins.
2024 is the year of Innovation for PayPal, its giving me Mark Zuckerburg vibes.
Remember what he said last quarter in the earnings call- closing statements.
