From an investment and speculation perspective, I adopt a combination of long and short positions, examining prices for short positions and values for long positions. By the settlement of long and short positions in 2024, I achieved a 69% ROI.
On the other hand, I also do not miss out on cryptocurrencies. I only hold long positions to avoid spreading energy, simply buying and holding; holding 50% Bitcoin, another 40% Ethereum SOL + 10% ADA XRP SUI. The overall ROI in 2024 even reached as high as 100%, with BTC SOL having the largest increase, both exceeding 100%, outperforming the US stock market. This is mainly driven by BTC and the fact that long positions are not speculative.
I tried short-term trading once, lost 80% of the capital in less than a minute, and have since refrained from trading cryptocurrencies in the short term, focusing only on the US stock market. Currently, I am studying and reading analysis books on Options, planning to enter the market this year after familiarizing myself with it.
