The Reason Behind the Reason?

I know. The markets came in weak on Wednesday. The macro was weak. European macro was weak. $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ got its tail kicked. $Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$ failed to impress. Maybe the real reason behind the weekness is... that Visa (V) $Visa (V.US)$ disappointed for the quarter on both the top and bottom lines. The issue is this... growth in total payment volume, cross-border volume, and processed transactions all decelerated form the previous quarter. During the call though, CFO Chris Suh spoke of stabilizing US demand for goods through e-commerce post-pandemic and expressed a lack of certainty in whether or not that stabilization will come at pre-pandemic levels. Hmm..
