Last night, the Street wanted clarification on when Google's $GOOG capex on AI will have a return on investment.
This is a reasonable question considering we are seeing about $12B in capex spend or higher yet only an acceleration of $750M on GCP QoQ.
Sundar Pichai was quite clear: "the risk of under-investing is dramatically greater than the risk of over-investing for us (in AI)."
